Radio
Advertising through radio is now one of our other fastest updated ways of delivering advertisements. Originally there was the old jukebox. Naturally here is where we hear the gossip. That coin operated phonograph introduced by the Automatic Music Instrument Company in 1927. Speaker systems were eventually developed with separate woofers, which were large speakers used to reproduce low frequencies. Tweeters not the website, but speakers that actually produced high sounds. With the older method, just one sound was recorded essentually using just one track, or recorded sound source. After World War I ended in 1918, records became a popular form of home entertainment. The birth of the radion was in the 1920s. This caused major changes in the recording industry. At first, spurring sales because people were wanting to hear records they heard on the radio. Jazz became hot then. Composers wrote music specifically for new dances. People bought he records and practice the dances at home. The Radio Corporation of America entered the industry in 1929. The recording industry suffered though in the 1930s. Sill music continued to be an important part of American culture. Jukeboxes made swing music and jitterbug dances such as Lindy Hop popular, as did recording stars quite a large amount of synergy. Then by 1947 came Rock And Roll. The best there is. The big labels pushed a mainstream music style that was epitomized by the crooning of Bing Crosby and the happy ditties of Perry Como and Doris Day. A lot of big hits were produced because of the industry and the beginning of Radio and today our selection at the market and online. Each of your radio stations such as Hip-Hop and Rock and the Mixes such as Z107.7, 93.3, and 98.1 and more have songs on their websites you can requests and events you can be part of.
Television's Role
Television plays an important role in our life. Sometimes it's just entertainment for the sake of entertainment. Other times it has a moral or a lesson or lessons that is taken from it to be learned that has a certain outcome that benefits us. We learn from our television. Although some say it may rot our brain a great deal of growing up is sitting in from of a t.v. set and watching a movie or t.v. show that interests us. We quote sayings from movies we even grow up watching and learning very young childhood lessons from the favorite childhood cartoons. So indeed, television is at its best beneficial. Enticing us from the very beginning the earliest movies were made from about 30 second picture film strips that rolled in a slow motion. Just think of the old film making and the videos in the theatres much unlike that of now. Now we have our options of the most modern technology and even the security is right there up to date. Before though, filmstrips could be homemade movies. Now today we call the likely slideshows on our computers or our Windows Power Point or Movie Maker. Photography inented in 1839 had to await development of the first successful photography in motion in 1872. This started Peep shows to projections. The old device to show pictures was called kinetoscope. Later Edison began to invent his way into making "nickelodeans." Admission to a theatre then,... a nickel and odeon was the Greek word for theater.

Newstations
Newstations locally or further distanced apart or away from us record most of all our local or distant events that occur and focus hard and repititiously at their highest level to do their best to inform their audiences every day. They work and practice very hard at their jobs. They have to be presentable for when they deliver their news everyday and read off the script in the distance or memorize and talk freely depending upon the person. Each person works hard to deliver their message and news as effectively as possible. They are important to us because they deliver us the most updated news as soon as possible. They have their anchor mans, journalists and deliverers. Not only do they give us the updated news but also the weather news.
Newspapers
Newpapers such as our local Missourian that has the area news for St. Clair, Washington, Union and New Haven is usually very common. http://www.emissourian.com/. The first newpaper was probably made of reeds and from China probably about 1,200 years ago. News then consisted of bits of wisdom from religious leaders and official notices of government. The newspaper was the first and most effective starting with the "Penny Press." The "Penny Press" is the inexpensive, advertiser-supported newspapers that appeared in the 1830s. Not only that, there was the first bookseller and publisher Benjamin Harris who had gotten put in prison for his newspaper, "Publick Occurrences." There was also John Campbell's Boston News-Letter, The first paper to last more than an issue. (Intro to Mass Media Communication:George Rodman) ** Note- Early government control and regulation even happened then so why wouldn't it now. More often, regulation of news articles were common. Characteristics of Early Newspapers included follow ups of the first daily newspaper in 1784 after the U.S. won independence from Great Britain and those of the first reed-like newspapers made by the Chinese. The Zenger Case marked the Freedom of Speech campaign that the press had although royal authorities continued to crack down. It was a first success as a case. [Zenger vs. Freedom of the Press]Newspapers commonly take the local complaints and concerns or events from the people involved in feedback and use the practice of photojournalism or photography separately from journalism combined to catch and write on recorded events.
